Welcome Students!
If you are reading this, you are probably one of my students from Berlitz.
I'm not going to lie to you, you will probably have trouble reading many of these pages. But that is how we learn, by challenging ourselves. You shouldn't be reading things that are only AT your level, you should try reading things that are PAST your level.

Having Trouble?
This website has many levels of challenge. If you don't understand a word or expression, try doing this:
1) Read the entire sentence.
2) Guess what you THINK it means.
3) THEN look it up in the dictionary.
4) IF you can't find it in the dictionary, you can email me! I'll be happy to explain.
What Should You Read?
For the beginners, I recommend reading The Mossfoot Pages. It's easier to read than most of the pages, with less slang.
For the more advanced, I recommend going to My Cross Canada Adventure. This is more difficult, because I wrote it for my friends. The language is often casual, and some of the expressions are not very common.
If you are looking for a story to read, go to My Stories. More stories will be added as time goes on, of varying difficulty.
After you're done, go to The Arcade and play a game to relax.
Also, you should know, I am not the best speller in the world. If you see a mistake, don't be afraid to tell me. |
